What does Dynamic Automation & Seals supply?
We manufacture, supply and trade sealing and motion components: hydraulic and pneumatic seals, O-rings and quad rings, rotary shaft and oil seals, mechanical seals, cylinder seal kits, anti-vibration mounts and tables, couplings and keyless shaft-hub locking devices, V-belts and pulleys, gaskets, diaphragms, custom moulded parts and extrusion profiles.
Where are you located and which areas do you serve?
Our head office is at No. 21, Madha Church Street, Royapuram, Chennai 600 013, with a branch office in Chennai 600 001 and a regional office in Coimbatore 641 009. We supply across Tamil Nadu and the rest of India, and hold pan-India dealer channels for belts and transmission products.
What pressure and temperature can your seals handle?
Our hydraulic seal range is rated from 0 to 2500 bar working pressure across light, medium and heavy duty profiles. Rotary shaft seals are available for temperatures up to +260 degrees C, in sizes up to 3 metres diameter, in a range of elastomer and thermoplastic materials.
Which brands do you stock and represent?
We are a channel partner for Max Spare seals and O-rings, Ringfeder keyless shaft-hub locking and damping technology, Tschan heavy duty couplings, Gerwah machine tool couplings, Ecoloc locking devices and couplings, and Dynemech anti-vibration solutions. We also supply Parker, Hallite, Trelleborg, GAPI, Kastas, NOK, Merkel, Freudenberg and SKF.
Can you make a seal to a drawing or to a sample?
Yes. Send a dimensioned drawing, a worn sample, or the three critical numbers - bore, rod diameter and groove width - and we will match the profile, compound and hardness. For sizes that do not exist as standard, our Express Seals service machines them to order.
How quickly can you supply a seal that is holding up a machine?
Standard BS size O-rings and common kits ship from stock. Where nothing standard fits, Express Seals lets us machine a hydraulic seal in a custom size with a quick turnaround, which is usually faster than waiting for an import.
Do you repair hydraulic cylinders as well as supply seals?
Yes. We repair and refurbish worn or damaged hydraulic cylinders and pumps, bringing them back to working condition with genuine parts and proper tooling - normally at a fraction of the cost of replacing the unit.
Which material should I choose for my seal?
Nitrile suits general mineral-oil hydraulics to about 100 degrees C. Viton handles high temperature and aggressive chemicals. EPDM is for water, steam and brake fluid, never mineral oil. Silicone suits static joints across a wide temperature band. Polyurethane gives the best abrasion and extrusion resistance on high-pressure rods.
